Fondazione Patrizio Paoletti
The Patrizio Paoletti Foundation is a non-profit organisation and a research institute in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, pedagogy and didactics. Its goal is the promotion of wellbeing and peace by innovating education, the most powerful means of change, through research.
The Patrizio Paoletti Foundation is registered with the National Registry of Legal Entities at Rome’s Prefecture of Police and the National Research Registry Office at the Ministry of Education, University and Research. It is also accredited and qualified by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) for the pedagogical training and permanent education of school teachers, designing training programmes in accordance with the ministerial Directive 170/2016.
The Paoletti Foundation uses educational and social development projects, school and teaching programmes, awareness-raising campaigns and institutional information as tools to stimulate educational processes which can help improve modern man’s living conditions and society.
Our daily commitment has been to research and study the functioning of man to promote awareness and improvement through education. This is the privileged tool to nurture the potential of every human being and reach a collective as well as individual wellbeing. By connecting the most advanced knowledge offered by neuroscientific research and psycho-pedagogical research we provide innovative training programs and practical, efficient ready-to-use tools for education and didactics. We study how man grows, learns, emotes, improves, and we connect this research with the most advanced knowledge from other disciplines. On this premise we have designed a method called “Pedagogy for the Third Millenium”.
Since it was first established in the year 2000, the Foundation has trained over 2,800 operators in the fields of education and social work, both in Italy and abroad, and has carried out more than 90,000 hours of research in collaboration with Sapienza – Università di Roma, l’Università degli Studi di Padova and Bar Ilan University.
We create educational programmes to share scientific knowledge, master’s degrees, professional training for caregivers, teachers, and design social development projects and provide assistance in emergency situations. Since 2004 the Foundation has been active in many schools both in Italy and developing countries.
