Emotional-Social Development
In the process of emotional development, we can recognize three main areas: noticing emotions, expressing emotions, managing emotions. The emotional development of the child cannot exclude relational and social interactions first within the family environment and then in the educational/school environment through which the child will train the ability to self-regulate, to communicate effectively, to express/feel empathy, to deal with intense emotions (both “positive” and “negative”). The goal is to foster the child’s emotional dimension to guarantee positive social interactions.
